As promised, a user at reddit.com responded to Harold Camping's billboard campaign proclaiming the Rapture with a billboard campaign of his own in Greensboro, North Carolina. http://www.myfox8.com/news/wghp-story-nc-man-billboard-110523,0,300126.story
I am all for sharing the gospel .. boldly... but to announce to the world an exact way that the world is going to end goes against the direct word of God. Unfortunately, too many people don't look into the word of God for the truth. They look to media. Worse, because of men who choose to be so bold as to announce a day or to announce they have recieved some prophet word from God (that goes against the Bible), they only push others away from the truth... beleiving that anyone who trusts in Jesus Christ might be just as foolish.
Ironically, the day after the end of the world was to come, a mile wide tornado destroyed a town. The town was Joplin, Missouri. Here is apictue of the tornado.
